Meet Eris Thomas, CEO

As CEO of Coral Gables Executive Physicians in Coral Gables, Fla., Eris Thomas plays an integral role in developing what has become an increasingly important force in the medical field: high-quality and personalized medical care. Eris sets the practice’s strategy, vision, and direction and creates a culture where excellence, respect, and compassion are fundamental.

Eris’s business savvy is the result of years of management and accounting experience at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Miami, Fla., where she worked for six years. Eris holds an MBA in General Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, Evanston, Ill. She graduated at the top of her class from University of Miami’s School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In her time at the University of Miami, she was vice president of Beta Alpha Psi, an honors business fraternity for accounting.

In addition to being a successful businesswoman, Eris is very active in the South Florida community. Through their fundraisers for charitable organizations, such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade and the Baptist Hospital Foundation, Eris and Dr. Thomas have raised more than $2,000,000. Eris serves on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade’s Board of Directors and sits on various committees for the organization. Eris is also a member of the Beacon Council, a public and private non-profit agency working to improve the business climate of Miami and Dade County. She is also a member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce.

A resident of Coconut Grove, Fla., Eris enjoys spending her free time with her husband and their two young children. She is multilingual, speaking English and Albanian, and has knowledge of Spanish, German, and Italian.
