Meet Dr. Robert H. Thomas

Robert H. Thomas, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internal medicine and primary care physician, and founder of Coral Gables Executive Physicians in Coral Gables, Florida. He is among the best internists in the country, having achieved scores in the top 1% on the National Board of Medicine and American Board of Internal Medicine certification examinations three times in a row, earning him the nickname “Dr. House” by many of his peers and patients.

Dr. Thomas graduated with honors and earned both his undergraduate and his medical degree from the University of Miami. He served as chief medical resident during his internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.

Prior to opening his private practice, Dr. Thomas taught as a full-time faculty physician for seven years at the University of Miami, where he currently teaches students as an assistant professor of medicine, voluntary faculty. Along with lecturing physicians at continuing education presentations across the country and publishing articles in medical journals, Dr. Thomas regularly continues his own education and completed a two year-program at the University of Miami in functional medicine.

Dr. Thomas was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
